OVERVIEW
Albi Protective Coatings was the first Company to offer intumescent fireproofing. Albi Intumescent Paint can be applied to most building materials. Structural Steel is the most commonly protected substrate, but protection can be applied on Gypsum, Wood and Composite Panels.
Albi products are fully UL tested in accordance with UL263/ ASTM E-119 standard. They are widely accepted Nationwide and Internationally.
To achieve the proper fire rating, intumescent coating must be applied to the specific Dry Film Sickness (DFT) listed in our Data Sheets or Specified for your particular substrates. Product may be applied by Spray or Brush. Spraying is most efficient application method. Top coat may be applied allowing a decorative look to be achieved.
